 Chosen Builders is a dynamic, hands-on STEAM education program developed by Chosen For The Arts to empower young minds with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in a fast-changing world. Through immersive experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, the program encourages critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving in a fun and engaging way.

What makes Chosen Builders unique is its focus on connecting STEAM to everyday life. Whether it’s measuring ingredients in the kitchen (math), exploring how things work (engineering), understanding nature (science), or expressing ideas through music and design (arts), participants begin to see that STEAM is all around them—even if they didn’t realize it before.

This approach not only builds academic confidence but also prepares participants—especially those from underserved communities—for real-world challenges and future careers. From building simple machines and creating digital art to coding and exploring environmental science, Chosen Builders brings learning to life.

 Choose To Move is a year-round wellness and movement initiative designed to support and strengthen the Savannah community—

 Rooted in the vibrant energy of dance, this program combines physical activity, cultural expression, and nutritional education to promote holistic community well-being.

With a focus on inclusivity, Choose To Move offers a safe and welcoming environment where people of all abilities and backgrounds can come together through movement. Classes are thoughtfully designed to support a wide range of physical and social needs, including sessions tailored for individuals with autism and chronic health conditions.

Through dance, the program encourages active lifestyles, fosters connection, and celebrates cultural identity. Dance becomes a tool not just for fitness, but for building resilience, joy, and shared purpose within the community.

Choose To Move is more than a dance program—it’s a movement toward healthier, more unified neighborhoods. By prioritizing accessibility, creativity, and wellness, it inspires individuals to move forward together—stronger, healthier, and more connected than ever.

The Chosen Legacy Scholarship Fund is a signature initiative of Chosen For The Arts, created to provide educational support and financial assistance to students who embody leadership, resilience, and a commitment to personal growth. Rooted in cultural pride and the belief that access to opportunity can change lives, this fund serves as a bridge between community investment and academic success.

The scholarship fund was originally inspired by the Miss Savannah Juneteenth Pageant, where young women demonstrate excellence in education, community involvement, and self-expression. Today, the Chosen Legacy Scholarship Fund has expanded into an umbrella initiative supporting multiple programs—from youth pageants to STEAM-based learning projects and arts-focused enrichment opportunities.

Through this fund, Chosen For The Arts awards scholarships that help reduce the financial barriers to higher education and career development. Whether it’s a student pursuing college, a trade certification, or artistic training, the Chosen Legacy is here to support their next step forward.

By honoring the past and investing in the future, the Chosen Legacy Scholarship Fund helps shape a generation of changemakers who carry forward the values of purpose, pride, and possibility.

  The Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival is a vibrant annual celebration that honors the legacy of Juneteenth while showcasing the best in art, music, and culture from Savannah and surrounding areas. Held over several days at venues across the city, the festival brings together residents and visitors to celebrate freedom, creativity, and heritage. 

Through performances, exhibits, and shared experiences, we aim to inspire unity and uplift our community. 

 Touring Toward Tomorrow campaign. This initiative is designed to support the children of Savannah’s tourism industry workers by providing essential back-to-school supplies, including materials for college-bound students. 

 Let’s be honest—while our community offers several back-to-school giveaways, many of them happen during the hours when our tourism industry is hard at work. By the time shifts end, the supplies are often gone.  

This program is about meeting them where they are—literally—and making sure their children head back to school prepared and confident, because every child deserves a strong start, no matter their family’s income. 

 The Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant is a celebration of heritage, achievement, and empowerment—honoring the legacy of Juneteenth while equipping young women to lead with confidence, purpose, and pride.

Originally launched as part of the Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival, hosted by Chosen For The Arts, the pageant has grown into a signature event in its own right. While remaining deeply rooted in its festival origins, the pageant now stands as a powerful platform dedicated to uplifting young African American women and preserving the cultural significance of Juneteenth.

Through leadership training, educational enrichment, and scholarship opportunities, the program encourages participants to embrace their unique voices, pursue excellence, and become agents of change in their communities.
