 Choose To Move is a year-round wellness and movement initiative designed to support and strengthen the Savannah community—

 Rooted in the vibrant energy of dance, this program combines physical activity, cultural expression, and nutritional education to promote holistic community well-being.

With a focus on inclusivity, Choose To Move offers a safe and welcoming environment where people of all abilities and backgrounds can come together through movement. Classes are thoughtfully designed to support a wide range of physical and social needs, including sessions tailored for individuals with autism and chronic health conditions.

The Chosen Legacy Scholarship Fund is a signature initiative of Chosen For The Arts, created to provide educational support and financial assistance to students who embody leadership, resilience, and a commitment to personal growth. Rooted in cultural pride and the belief that access to opportunity can change lives, this fund serves as a bridge between community investment and academic success.

The scholarship fund was originally inspired by the Miss Savannah Juneteenth Pageant, where young women demonstrate excellence in education, community involvement, and self-expression. Today, the Chosen Legacy Scholarship Fund has expanded into an umbrella initiative supporting multiple programs—from youth pageants to STEAM-based learning projects and arts-focused enrichment opportunities.

Through this fund, Chosen For The Arts awards scholarships that help reduce the financial barriers to higher education and career development. Whether it’s a student pursuing college, a trade certification, or artistic training, the Chosen Legacy is here to support their next step forward.
