Hosted by Chosen For The Arts, with the Tourism Leadership Council as our Presenting Sponsor, Holidays In Motion is more than a holiday program—it’s a moving celebration designed to honor and uplift the very families who keep Savannah’s tourism and hospitality industry strong all year long.
Building on the success of our Touring Toward Tomorrow back-to-school initiative, which placed support directly into the hands of over 1,000 families, Holidays In Motion carries that same spirit of giving into the holiday season. Instead of asking families to come to us, we bring the holiday experience to them—aboard a festively decorated trolley filled with Santa, his helpers, gifts, and plenty of cheer.
The program is designed with working families in mind—many of whom work nights, weekends, and holidays to make Savannah shine for visitors. These parents often don’t have the time or means to create the full holiday experience at home. Holidays In Motion bridges that gap, ensuring that their children still feel the magic of Christmas. Families can step right outside their doors to find a holiday party on wheels—complete with music, laughter, and gifts delivered straight to their community.
