Savannah's hospitality and tourism industry keeps our city moving, but the dedicated employees who serve our visitors often have little time to access community back-to-school resources while working. Touring Toward Tomorrow was created to change that.
Through this unique mobile initiative, Chosen For The Arts delivers backpacks, school supplies, and educational resources directly to tourism and hospitality employees at convenient locations throughout the community. Using a trolley as our mobile distribution center, we make multiple stops across Savannah, ensuring families receive the support they need without having to miss work.
In 2025, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and community partners, Touring Toward Tomorrow served nearly 1,000 families in just one week, with stops in Downtown Savannah, the Southside, and Pooler. By partnering with hotels, attractions, restaurants, businesses, and tourism organizations, we help ensure that the families who help create Savannah's world-class visitor experience are prepared for a successful school year.
Together, we're not just distributing school supplies—we're investing in students, supporting working families, and helping build tomorrow's leaders.
