This 10-week after-school experience serves up to 24 students in grades 2–5 through creative arts, STEAM exploration, mentoring, health and wellness, hygiene education, and meaningful community service—all designed to educate, inspire, and strengthen the whole child.

This 10-week after-school experience serves up to 24 students in grades 2–5 through creative arts, STEAM exploration, mentoring, health and wellness, hygiene education, and meaningful community service—all designed to educate, inspire, and strengthen the whole child.
Students choose one of three specialized LAB groups and remain with that group throughout the session. With only eight students in each class, instructors can provide closer guidance, stronger relationships, age-appropriate support, and meaningful hands-on learning.

A Coat for the Season is a 5-week initiative beginning September 17, 2026, developed by Miss Savannah Juneteenth, Miss Teen Savannah Juneteenth, and the Runner-Up.
New coats and accessories, for students from elementary through high school, will be purchased, and distributed throughout the community.

Holidays In Motion is Chosen For The Arts’ annual holiday giving initiative created to make the season a little brighter for local children and working families.
Last year, through the generosity of our partners and supporters, more than 800 children received holiday gifts, with multiple gifts provided to each child and special attention

Last year, through the generosity of our partners and supporters, more than 800 children received holiday gifts, with multiple gifts provided to each child and special attention given to items from their personal wish lists.
In 2026, Holidays In Motion continues that spirit of giving with a special focus on employees and families within Savannah’s Tourism & Hospitality industry.
