Hosted by Chosen For The Arts, with the Tourism Leadership Council as our 2025 Presenting Sponsor, Holidays In Motion is Savannah’s newest holiday tradition—bringing the magic of the season directly to families who work tirelessly in the tourism and hospitality industry.
This mobile celebration takes place aboard a festive trolley, where Santa and his helpers deliver toys, joy, and holiday cheer to working individuals, and gifts delivered right to their community.
Designed especially for working families balancing long hours and holiday demands, Holidays In Motion ensures that those who keep Savannah’s tourism and hospitality industry thriving don’t miss out on the spirit of the season.
TOURING TOWARD TOMORROW
Touring Toward Tomorrow
In 2025, Chosen For The Arts launched Touring Toward Tomorrow, a mobile back-to-school drive dedicated to supporting Savannah’s families. With Howmet Aerospace as our Presenting Sponsor and Old Town Trolley as a Supporting Sponsor, we were able to deliver bookbags filled with essential school supplies directly into the hands of those who needed them most.
Thanks to all of our partners, we served over 1,000 families, ensuring that students across our community were equipped and empowered for a successful school year. This program not only met an immediate need, but also reflected our mission of bringing access, opportunity, and hope directly to working families.
SAVANNAH JUNETEENTH FINE ARTS FESTIVAL
The Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival is a vibrant annual celebration that honors the legacy of Juneteenth while showcasing the best in art, music, and culture from Savannah and surrounding areas. Held over several days at venues across the city, the festival brings together residents and visitors to celebrate freedom, creativity, and heritage.
Through performances, exhibits, and shared experiences, we aim to inspire unity and uplift our community.
MISS SAVANNAH JUNETEENTH SCHOLARSHP PAGEANT
The Miss Savannah Juneteenth Scholarship Pageant is a celebration of heritage, achievement, and empowerment—honoring the legacy of Juneteenth while equipping young women to lead with confidence, purpose, and pride.
Originally launched as part of the Savannah Juneteenth Fine Arts Festival, hosted by Chosen For The Arts, the pageant has grown into a signature event in its own right. While remaining deeply rooted in its festival origins, the pageant now stands as a powerful platform dedicated to uplifting young African American women and preserving the cultural significance of Juneteenth.
Through leadership training, educational enrichment, and scholarship opportunities, the program encourages participants to embrace their unique voices, pursue excellence, and become agents of change in their communities.
